Light>Darkness is a name I’ve created for like-minded people who believe that truthful words and imagery in speech, music, and film can be powerful instruments for social good.
We combat negative and harmful media by lighting candles(providing excellent alternatives) more than cursing the darkness

Khalil Ismail is a world-class hiphop and R&B artist whose faith influences him strongly. His desire to both address issues within his faith, show people how its made him a better person, and explain things in a palatable way to non-muslims who may not know much about Islam led him to create the “soul” series which is more overtly dedicated to Islamic song. He has released two albums in and is working on albums 3 and 4 which would make 8 released albums in total. Khalil Ismail has shared the stage with the most popular Islamic acts including , Faisal Latif, Harris J, Maher Zain, Zain Bhikha, Deen Squad, Native Deen, Dawud Wharnsby, Khaled Siddiq and more!
